Due to the distances involved, it is not always obvious if a shot hole has touched a scoring line. Touching a scoring line would give the shooter a higher score, therefore a scoring paddle is used to confirm the score.

The scoring paddle can be placed in one of 4 holes and has Black and Orange sides.
