Event Highlights
2025 Spring Open
The LRRFC Spring Open is the first meeting in our 2025 Calendar and was held at Bisley on Sunday 16th March. The meeting was shot at 200yards in the morning and 300 yards in the afternoon. Both distances were on NRA targets. Course of fire at both distances was 3 Practice shot 2 convertible sighters and 15 shots to count.
Wind was very difficult particularly for the afternoon shoot at 300 yards. Although cold there was no rain, and it was sunny enough in the afternoon for the Bisley Ice Cream van to put in an appearance at the 300 yard firing point. Congratulations to Kevin Sayers who shot a “possible” at 200 yards; the first ween under competition within the club. It was great to see the increase in Service Rifle entries.
In total there were 40 entries for the Spring meeting: a great turnout.
